Who You're Contracting With

The Movie Game ("the app", "the service") is operated by Chairo Productions ("we", "us", "our"). By using the app, you are entering into an agreement with Chairo Productions. Contact: support@chairoproductions.com.

Acceptance

By installing, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction or have parental/guardian consent.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial entertainment within the plan you have selected.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the app unlawfully or fraudulently; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent technical limits; (c) interfere with security, probe, scan, or upload malware; (d) scrape or resell the service; (e) infringe intellectual property rights; or (f) harass other players in online rooms.

Intellectual Property

Chairo Productions retains all rights in the app, including the software, branding, and procedurally-generated artwork. Movie titles, actor names, and themed labels are referenced for trivia purposes only and remain the property of their respective rights holders. Stylised "posters" are procedurally generated abstract art and are not affiliated with any studio.

Payments, Subscriptions & Billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, currency conversion, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through paddle.net; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Prices on our Pricing page are shown in USD; local taxes may apply at checkout. Account & Credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app, in whole or in part, for: (a) material breach of these terms; (b) non-payment; (c) security or fraud risk; or (d) repeated or serious violations of our Acceptable Use policy. We will give reasonable notice where practicable. You may stop using the app at any time. On termination, access ends and your account data may be deleted after a reasonable export window unless retention is required by law.

Service Level & Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Chairo Productions is established, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
